Альбом Sun Instead of Head – это личное посвящение автора лету, поэтому символично, что альбом выходит в день летнего солнцестояния. «Лето – это день природного цикла, время активности для всего живого, ведь солнце щедро раздаёт энергию. Лично для меня (я думаю, что и для многих) лето – это время исследований. Мы много гуляем, путешествуем, получаем впечатления, открываем новое. В музыке мне хотелось передать это состояние увлеченного поиска, интереса к жизни. Возможно поэтому некоторые композиции звучат немного наивно, по-детски. В детстве ход времени воспринимается иначе. День кажется длиннее, потому что он складывается из череды новых открытий. Часть композиций альбома изначально были написаны как музыка к кино-инсталляции «Путь моего Художника» режиссёра Натальи Полуяновой. В этой работе Наташа так же иллюстрирует тему внутреннего ребёнка исследователя. Мне хотелось, чтобы музыка создавала необычные художественные образы, пробуждала фантазию и дополняла привычную реальность».

The Sun Instead of Head album is a personal dedication of the author. He is paying homage to the summer season and so it is quite fitting that the album gets released on the summer solstice. “Summer is part of the natural cycle, the time when all living things become active, as the sun generously distributes its energy. For me personally (and I think the same is true for many people out there), summer is the time of exploration. We move around a lot, travel, experience and discover new things. I wanted to use music to convey this state of passionate search, this zest for life. Perhaps that is why some songs sound a bit naive, a bit childish. Growing up, the passage of time is perceived differently. The days seem longer because they are filled with all sorts of wonderful discoveries. Some of the songs from the album were originally written as a score for the film installation titled “The Path of My Artist” directed by Natalia Poluyanova. In this work, Natalia illustrates and explores the phenomenon of the inner child in the body of an adventurer. I wanted the music to bring about intriguing and exciting artistic images, awaken imagination and enhance the familiar reality.”
